Asqav vs Langfuse
Updated
Asqav and Langfuse both sit beside an AI agent, and they answer different questions. Asqav signs a record of each agent action so that someone outside your company can check it later. Langfuse is an LLM-observability product, the category the note behind our prices places it in. Many teams will run both, and neither replaces the other.
How we compared
We compared published prices rather than demos or trials. On 2026-10-20 we read Langfuse's own pricing page at langfuse.com/pricing. It lists Core at $29 a month, Pro at $199 a month and Enterprise at $2,499 a month. For Asqav we read our own pricing page, where Pro is $49 a month billed monthly ($39 billed annually), Business is $199 a month billed monthly ($159 billed annually) and Enterprise is custom. We did not test Langfuse, and this page states nothing about it beyond those prices. Prices change, so check both pages before you rely on a figure here.

Where Langfuse fits
If you are buying LLM observability, Langfuse's Core tier is $29 a month, $20 below Asqav's Pro at the monthly rate, and $170 below our Business tier. Asqav's Observability view reports recorded activity plus latency, token and cost aggregates for submitted actions; it is not the LLM-observability job this comparison prices, so it is not a cheaper substitute. The price band for entry paid tiers of LLM-observability and audit tools runs from $29 to $79 a month, and Langfuse sits at the bottom of it.
Where Asqav fits
When someone outside the company has to rely on the record of what an agent did, a receipt signed by a separate signing service can be checked without an Asqav account. The verifier is open and can run offline, the public keys are published at GET /.well-known/jwks.json, and the receipt format is published as draft-marques-asqav-compliance-receipts on the IETF Datatracker. A receipt does not prove that every action was sent for signing; Capture Topology explains that boundary.
Using them together
The two do not conflict. Keep Langfuse for observability and route Asqav receipts into the systems you already run: the webhook delivery path can stream receipts to a SIEM, documented in SIEM Streaming, and Webhooks covers delivery and retries. Running both is a choice each team makes on its own evidence needs.
